Blimey, with this many suggestions, I might be in danger of forgetting where I stash it, although I particularly like the bath panel idea – thanks Katharine!

Hello Granny P! I like the idea, but think I’d need to get a bookshelf first. My books are currently in a teetering pile on the phone table.

Barry – I was too discouraged to ask about the investment account, but I may try it. I’m not sure how much money you need though.

HHmmmm, tricky one. I used to have pockets sewn into the inside of all my clothing garments to hide away money whilst I was travelling but I’m guessing this is a bigger stash and so more tricky to hide in that way. How about putting it into multiple packages and distrbuting them about the house and garden. You could put a fraction of it in a jam jar and bury it? How about behind the bath panel, that’s always a good one as you could screwed the panel back and make it harder to find?

I don’t believe it: I have spent more time looking at Namibian banking products! Isn’t the answer to open an investment account? You can have them on call, you’ll get interest and there is no fee to put money into it.
